We are taking you behind the scenes of the 5th Project Meeting on November 10 2023-Barcelona, where innovation, collaboration, and progress were the order of the day.

Regarding the Pilots in Focus, the morning session kicked off with a comprehensive overview and status update on each pilot city: Milano, Helsinki, Naples, and Lisbon Council. Attendees delved into the SPOTTED Challenge(s), exploring the trials conducted and the emerging evaluation framework. Technical development and deployment were also discussed, shedding light on the advancements made by ENGINEERING, PlanetGis SKY, and LATITUDO 40.

 Already several technical Milestones have been reached in these last months. 

The spotlight then shifted to technical development and deployment activities undertaken by ENGINEERING, PlanetGis SKY, and LATITUDO 40. The session provided a bird’s eye view of the city services’ development and deployment, showcasing the technological prowess driving SPOTTED’s mission. In addition, a specific demo video on the technical framework was created. 

Last but not least, the focus shifted to key performance indicators (KPIs) and the status of dissemination and communication activities. Attendees received updates on liaison activities with other projects and events participated in, including SPOTTED at Smart City Expo World Congress, Milano Digital Week, and the upcoming Web Summit from November 13-15, 2023.

Ongoing and Future Events

December promises a flurry of activity with digital events synergized with other projects. As we stride into 2024, April beckons with a sustainability plan workshop, a testament to SPOTTED’s commitment to enduring impact.
